Why Join Us?Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for a 2-year commitment for eligible hires!Loan Repayment: Up to $9,000 for December 2023 or later graduates!Flexible Schedules: Full-time and flexible full-time positions available, all with full-time benefits!Full-Time Benefits including Health Insurance options, PTO, Retirement, Tuition Assistance, Paid Parental Leave, and more!Secured parking lot lease with a shuttle available!Team-oriented department with training opportunities and a robust career ladder!Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is recognized by the American College of Radiology as a Diagnostic Center of Excellence!Nationally Ranked in all 11 Specialties by U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025.Work Schedule:Rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night.Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday hours.Limited, if any, travel to Children's satellite and Express Care locations.New and soon-to-be Radiography graduates (Radiology, Diagnostic, X-Ray) are encouraged to apply – we will train! If you’re passionate about patient care and eager to grow professionally, apply today!Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion.  Responsibilities:Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers.Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders.Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly.Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures.Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data.Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect.Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.Technologists cannot work in an Outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT Certificate or registry eligible.Must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire.Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals ST Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran",
