**Work Schedule:**

- Rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night.

- Rotating on-call, weekend, and holiday hours.

- Limited, if any, travel to Children's satellite and Express Care locations.

*Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion.*

**Responsibilities:**

- Properly identifies all patients by using two patient identifiers.

- Reviews patient history, assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required.

- Administers PO/enteral and rectal contrast per physician orders.

- Ensure exams are coded, tracked, networked, and charged correctly.

- Performs diagnostic radiography and other procedures utilizing established protocols/procedures.

- Utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data.

- Interacts with patients and co-workers with care, dignity, and respect.

- Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner and explain procedures to help allay the patient's fears and solicit their cooperation.

- Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.

- Technologists cannot work in an Outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained.

**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

- ARRT Certificate or registry eligible.

- Must obtain ARRT within 6 months of hire.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire.

- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
