Join Our Team at ST Health Presbyterian – Full-Time Diagnostic Tech Specialist (Operating Room Team)

Are you ready to take your radiologic career to the next level in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment? ST Health Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Diagnostic Tech Specialist to support our Presby Operating Room (OR) team — a critical unit supporting complex surgical procedures with advanced imaging technology.

This role offers a flexible daylight schedule consisting of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts, along with every other weekend and selected holidays, giving you consistency while allowing room for work-life balance.

What Makes This Role Unique:

  • You’ll work directly in surgical suites, playing a vital role in real-time imaging guidance.

  • Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment like the O-arm and Ziehm imaging systems — with training provided if you’re not already familiar.

  • Be at the forefront of clinical innovation, supporting surgeons, radiologists, and researchers to deliver the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Take the lead in quality assurance and protocol development in collaboration with lead technologists.

  • Provide technical mentorship and serve as a go-to resource for technologists on day-to-day operations.

  • Lead training initiatives for new equipment, techniques, and protocols — especially for research studies and new imaging locations.

  • Actively participate in the orientation and development of new team members and support continuing education efforts.

  • Assist with accreditation efforts and help ensure compliance with evolving industry standards.

  • Attend advanced training and seminars to remain current with imaging innovations and share knowledge with the team.

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 3 years Diagnostic experience required.
  • Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • ARRT certified in Radiography.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
  • ARRT Certificate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
