Responsible for posting denials, patient and insurance refunds.Responsibilities: Adhere to Human Resource policies and procedures.Responsible for entering self-pay, insurance, and manual exception payments into the Epic billing system.Perform batch audits.Review manually posted payments and adjustments for accuracy.Responsible for entering payments/non-payment denials into the Epic billing system.Responsible for meeting departmental goals on a daily basis.Process third-party reimbursements with guidelines set forth in the department. Initiate the refund process to ensure timely return of misdirected revenue.Provide back up support for other staff members who perform various departmental functions.Process reimbursements to multiple billing systems and automated systems as required.3 years' experience in a physician office or hospital business unit preferred.Must have experience in business functions such as registration, billing, payment posting and collections.Must have experience with medical terminology and reimbursement practices.Microsoft Word and Excel (or an equivalent package) and various office equipment.Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills.Must be able to work independently and as a team member.Must be able to meet departmental quotas on an ongoing basis.High school diploma or GED with three years' experience is required.Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business field is preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Act 34 with renewal                                                                     ST Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran",
