If you’re committed to safety, customer service, and making a difference, apply today to start your rewarding career with ST Health Hamot!\nIn this role, there is the opportunity to -\n\nStaff fixed posts to monitor access to secured areas and ensure safety protocols.\nProvide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff, enhancing security and peace of mind.\nInspect incoming and outgoing parcels to prevent theft and ensure safe transport.\nRespond to and resolve disputes, problems, and unusual circumstances promptly.\nMaintain required certifications and licenses to remain compliant with regulations.\nAssist with traffic control and vehicle support to ensure smooth operations.\nTransport deceased individuals to the morgue and release bodies as needed.\nMonitor security, fire, and environmental alarms, responding to emergencies and coordinating with appropriate personnel.\nRequired\n\nHigh level of integrity required for handling sensitive/confidential ST Health information.\nMust possess strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to effectively interact, communicate, and diffuse potential combative situations with persons from all walks of life.\nPsychological fitness required to deal with stress and potentially dangerous conflict situations.\nPhysical fitness requirements to deal with typical physical demands that require full body motion and physical strength and stamina sufficient to respond to crisis interventions and medical emergencies.\nBe able to effectively communicate both orally and in written format.\nGood interpersonal skills; able to deal with stress and potentially dangerous conflict situations.\nAll applicants will be subject to a thorough background and criminal record check.\nMust be available for all shifts Officers are required to wear a bullet proof vest.\nEmployees covered by a collective bargaining agreement should consult the applicable collective bargaining for specific requirements.\n\nPreferred\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent. \nPrior security or military experience.\n\nLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances:\n\nAct 235 with Firearms OR Act 235 without Firearms - All officers hired without a valid Act 235 must complete the 235 certification within their first 6 months of hire or placement and have process completed within 9 months of hire.\nMust meet audio and visual standards outlined in Act 235 at time of hire.\nCardio Pulmonary Resuscitation certification required within 30 days of hire.\nValid Driver's License.\nSuccessfully pass ST Health Physical Fitness Standard prior to hire.\nAct 31 Mandated Reporter Training within 90 days of hire or transfer\nBasic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)\nDriver's License\nST Health Physical Fitness Standard\nAct 235 with Firearms with renewal\nAct 235 without Firearms with renewal\nAct 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal\nAct 33 with renewal\nAct 34 with renewal\nAct 73 FBI Clearance with renewal",
