Want to know more about the department?We operate using therapist driven protocols which enable the therapist autonomy to assess and provide care specific to patient needs!You will have additional support staff consisting of respiratory care assistants as well as student interns.  We also have a professional practice counsel and a specialized tracheostomy task force.We offer flexible scheduling that encourages balance and collaboration amongst all staff! Qualified candidates will be placed into the appropriate level:CRT range: $26.16 – $43.85RRT range:  $28.73 – $48.21Sr. RRT range: $30.82 – $51.79We offer a lucrative career ladder that we utilize to allow for career growth and promotional opportunities with ST Health! Under the general direction of a physician and by prescription, the Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Defined responsibilities are performed in all patient populations and in all patient service areas.\n\n\tGraduate of a Co ARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory program required.\n\tRespiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.\n\tBasic Life Support or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation required Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required prior to expiration of temporary practice permit \n\tRespiratory therapists who receive their CRT credential from the NBRC after July 1, 2002 are required to maintain certification under the NBRC requirements\n\n\nLicensure, Certifications, and Clearances:\n\n\n\tCertified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)\n\tOsteopathic Respiratory Care\n\tRespiratory Care Practitioners (RCP)\n\tCPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire\n\n\n \n\nST Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran",
