In this important role, you will help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, public spaces, offices, and equipment, as well as moving furniture, equipment, and boxes, and assisting with blinds and curtains. Your work directly supports the quality of care we provide every day. We have full-time, part-time, and casual (per diem) opportunities for hardworking, compassionate individuals. Weekend availability is required, as our hospitals proudly serve our community 24/7. During the application process, you will be able to select your preferred shift(s)—day, evening, or night—so we can best align your availability with our staffing needs. ST Health offers competitive wages, a comprehensive Total Rewards benefits package, and a supportive leadership team that truly values the dedication and hard work of its employees.' Duties:Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.Make beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.Move equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.Remove trash from all assigned areas.Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to assure adequate supply.*Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.*Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties.Ability to use housekeeping equipment.  May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.  Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Act 34 ST Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran",
