Are you a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist looking for flexibility and purpose in your work? ST Health Cole is seeking a **Casual Respiratory Therapist** to join our dedicated team. **Position Highlights**

**What You’ll Do**

As a Respiratory Therapist at ST Health Cole, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

· Evaluating medical orders and interpreting clinical data to guide treatment

· Operating and adjusting ventilators, oxygen therapy systems, and aerosol delivery devices

· Monitoring patient responses and performing diagnostic tests

· Assisting with emergency situations and transporting ventilated patients

· Educating patients and mentoring students or new staff

· Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring equipment safety

· You must be a **graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program** (approved by CoARC).

· **OR** if you're a student with a **temporary license**, you can start working **with HR approval and official transcripts**.

· You need to have **Basic Life Support (BLS)** or **CPR certification** that includes both classroom and hands-on training.

· You must earn your **Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT)** credential from the **National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)** **before your temporary permit expires**.

· If you received your CRTT **after July 1, 2002**, you’ll need to **keep your certification up to date** according to NBRC requirements.

***RRTs and CRTs will be considered. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based his/her individual experience, education, and certifications.**

**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT)

- Osteopathic Respiratory Care OR Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP)

- Act 33 with renewal

- Act 34 with renewal

- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
