**Location:** Williamsport, PA
**Schedule:** Full-Time (.9 FTE) | Days with Rotation to Nights 12-Hour Shifts | Includes Every Other Weekend & Holiday
**Sign-On Bonus:**

- $12,000 for 0–1 years of experience

- $20,000 for 1+ years of experience

**What You’ll Do:**

As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll provide life-saving care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. You’ll work under physician direction to deliver advanced respiratory therapies and support across a variety of settings — from the ICU to the OR, ED, and beyond.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Administer advanced therapies such as Nitric Oxide and Tracheal Gas Insufflation

- Perform procedures including bronchoscopy, ABG lab troubleshooting, pulmonary function tests, EEG, EKG, stress testing, and more

- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly

- Assist in transporting ventilated patients and respond to emergency code situations

- Serve as a mentor and resource for students and junior staff

- Step into a leadership role when needed, functioning as Lead Therapist in the absence of a supervisor

Qualifications - Internal

**Education & Experience:**

- Graduate of a **CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program** is required

- In lieu of an Associate’s degree, candidates must have **5–7 years of experience** or hold **NBRC certification**

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Respiratory Therapy or related field is **preferred**

- Minimum of **2 years of total respiratory care experience**, including **at least 1 year in critical care**

- Must complete **one approved department project** annually, with the first project approved within **3 months of hire**

**️****Licensure, Certifications & Clearances**

**Required Certifications:**

- **Education & Experience:**

- Graduate of a **CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program** is required

- In lieu of an Associate’s degree, candidates must have **5–7 years of experience** or hold **NBRC certification**

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Respiratory Therapy or related field is **preferred**

- Minimum of **2 years of total respiratory care experience**, including **at least 1 year in critical care**

- Must complete **one approved department project** annually, with the first project approved within **3 months of hire**

- **Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** from the **National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)**

- Therapists credentialed after July 1, 2002 must maintain NBRC certification

- **Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)** license in the **Commonwealth of Pennsylvania**

- If practicing in Maryland, a **Maryland Respiratory Therapist license** is required

- **Basic Life Support (BLS)** or **Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)** certification (AHA-compliant, including didactic and skills demonstration) within **30 days of hire**

- **Act 33 Clearance** (with renewal)

- **Act 34 Clearance** (with renewal)

- **Act 73 FBI Clearance** (with renewal)
