## Description

Are you ready to be part of a highly skilled, tight-knit team that plays a vital role in saving lives every day? ST Health Presbyterian is hiring a full-time Anesthesia Associate to support our world-class anesthesia providers and deliver exceptional care to patients during critical moments.

**What You’ll Do:**

- Work varied shifts — weekday evenings, weekend daylight, and nights — supporting patient care 24/7.

- Assist in Trauma and Transplant procedures, including:

- Rapid blood infusion

- Difficult airway assistance

- Cell salvage and jet ventilation

- Swan Ganz catheter and liver transplant bypass cannula assistance

- Support anesthesia providers across all procedure areas: OR, MRI, GI Lab, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR suites.

- Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for anesthesia procedures to ensure smooth and safe patient flow.

- Troubleshoot critical equipment such as Anesthesia gas machines, GE B850 patient monitoring, Edwards CCO monitoring, and TEE/Ultrasound systems.

- Maintain stock levels and organize surgical suites for quick turnaround between cases.

- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and supplies.

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- 6 months - 1 year of health care experience preferred.

- If no previous hospital or pre-hospital training, Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to progress to an Anesthesia Technician position within 6months to 1 year of hire.

**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

- Act 34
