## Description

**Join Our Team as a Sleep Technologist!**

Are you passionate about improving patients’ sleep health? ST Health St. Margaret is seeking a dedicated Sleep Technologist to join our team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you!

**Responsibilities:**

- **Sleep Study Preparation:**Review patient charts, and testing orders, and verify patient identification.

- **Sleep Study Set-Up**: Apply electrodes and sensors per AASM guidelines and explain procedures to patients.

- **Sleep Study Procedure**: Conduct in-center and out-of-center sleep studies, ensuring quality and exceptional patient care.

- **Analysis and Scoring:** Analyze and score sleep studies.

- **Maintenance:** Clean equipment and patient rooms, perform routine maintenance, and manage lab supplies.

- **Competency:** Maintain scoring competency and meet monthly AASM ISR requirements.

- **Additional Duties:** Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to system-wide competencies and behaviors.

- HS graduate and graduate from an education program in polysomnography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)

- or the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) preferred with sleep credential from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT), the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT-SDS or RRT-SDS) or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (RST).

**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
BLS required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) OR Registered Polysomnographic Technologist OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

- Act 34
