**Lead the Team That Keeps the OR Moving! ST Health Presbyterian is hiring a Lead Sterile Processing Technician to support night shift (10 PM – 6:30 AM) Monday-Friday.**

Ready to take your sterile processing skills to the next level? Join ST Health Presbyterian as a Lead Sterile Processing Technician and help ensure every surgical team has what they need- when they need it. This high-impact role puts you at the center of patient safety, surgical success, and team leadership.

**What You’ll Do:**

- Take charge during nights, rotating weekends, or when leadership is off-site

- Supervise day-to-day workflow, train new staff, and ensure compliance with critical safety and infection control protocols

- Scrub, sterilize, assemble, and troubleshoot instrumentation and surgical trays

- Serve as the go-to liaison between the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) and the OR

- Drive performance improvement projects and mentor team members

- Participate in committees, lead professional development, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives

- Champion teamwork, belonging, and a positive, respectful work environment

**What It Takes:**

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays

- Comfort with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks

- A strong sense of urgency and ownership

- Willingness to work every third weekend, select holidays, and occasional on-call hours

- High School Graduate or equivalent required.

- Two years of central sterile processing experience required.

- Previous leadership experience preferred.

- Annual Project required upon hire. Must complete 10 hours of continuing education to remain qualified as a Central Sterile Technician on an annual basis. Must be able to stand for all shift hours and be able to pick up, push, pull etc. 35 pounds.

**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

- Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution OR Certified Registered Central Service Technician with Healthcare Sterile Processing Association

- Act 34
