We are seeking a dependable, compassionate **Part‑Time Transporter** to join our healthcare team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting patient care by ensuring the safe, timely movement of patients, equipment, and essential supplies throughout the facility.

**Schedule Details**

- Flexible part‑time hours scheduled between **11:00 a.m. and midnight**

- **Every other weekend and every other holiday** required

##### **What You’ll Do**

- Safely transport patients and necessary equipment between nursing units, treatment areas, and designated locations, following established policies and procedures

- Deliver supplies, equipment, medications, and other materials accurately and on time, ensuring proper handoff of medications with nursing staff

- Inspect, clean, and disinfect transport equipment to maintain safety and infection‑control standards

- Accurately document transportation activities using the electronic Transport Tracking System and/or required logs

- Communicate transportation status, delays, or unusual activities to the manager on duty

- Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues

As a Transporter, you are an essential link in the patient care experience. Your work helps ensure patients feel safe, supported, and cared for while enabling clinical teams to focus on what they do best.

- Ability to follow **written and verbal instructions** to safely and effectively perform transportation duties

- Ability to properly operate and safely use **patient transport equipment**

- May work in areas where medications are stored and may transport medications as part of patient transport activities

- Medication transport is limited to **approved transfers between departments** and must follow established procedures

- Demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance

#### **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances**

- **CPR Certification** required within **30 days of hire**, based on **American Heart Association (AHA)** standards and including both didactic instruction and hands‑on skills demonstration

- **Basic Life Support (BLS)** *or* **Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)** accepted

- **Pennsylvania Clearances (required with renewals):**

- Act 31 – Child Abuse Reporting

- Act 33 – PA Child Abuse Clearance

- Act 34 – PA Criminal History Clearance

- Act 73 – FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
