##### What You’ll Do

As a ST Health Paramedic, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality emergency care in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing basic and advanced life support in pre-hospital and emergency settings

- Communicating effectively with Medical Command and interdisciplinary care teams

- Performing emergency assessments, diagnostics, and treatments

- Supporting the education and development of student paramedics

- Participating in community education and outreach initiatives

- Ensuring readiness through proper maintenance of equipment and vehicles

- Accurately documenting patient care while maintaining confidentiality

- Promoting safety, wellness, and professionalism for patients and colleagues

**✅****Qualifications**

**Education & Experience:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- At least 1 year of experience in EMS (Advanced Life Support level) is preferred

- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to **100 pounds**

- Comfortable working **outdoors in all weather conditions**

- Must have **reliable transportation** and be willing to travel to different base sites as needed

- Must be eligible for **Medical Command authorization** from the Medical Director

- Completion of ST Health’s **orientation program**, including classroom training

- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and specialized equipment

**️****Licenses & Certifications (Required):**

- **Certified Paramedic** in Pennsylvania

- **Valid Driver’s License**

- **Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC)** or **Emergency Vehicle Driver (EVD)**

- **EMSVO Certification** (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

- **Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)**

- **Basic Life Support (BLS)** or **CPR Certification**

**Clearances (Required with Renewal):**

- **Act 31** – Child Abuse Reporting

- **Act 33** – PA Child Abuse History Clearance

- **Act 34** – PA Criminal Background Check

- **Act 73** – FBI Fingerprint Clearance
