**Professional Staff Nurse – Operating Room (Full-Time)**

- **24 state-of-the-art OR suites**

- Specialties include: Neuro, ENT, Ortho, Vascular, Urology, Plastics, Thoracic, Robotics & more

- **40+ surgical cases daily** — fast-paced, diverse, and never routine!

##### What You’ll Do

- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care using our **Relationship-Based Care Model**

- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses

- Apply advanced critical thinking and assessment skills in a surgical environment

- Participate in patient goal-setting and care planning

- Communicate and document care effectively

- Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and teammates

- Perform **scrub role** duties

- Receive placement on our nursing career ladder based on your experience and education

- 2+ years of nursing experience **STRONGLY** preferred.

- Operating room experience is preferred but not required.

- Critical thinking skills necessary to exercise and to lead others in application of the nursing process.

- Mobility and visual manual dexterity. Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting and positioning of patients.

**Licensure/Certification**

- Registered Nurse (RN)

- ST Health approved national certification preferred.

- Fit Testing Required

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

- Act 33 with renewal

- Act 34 with renewal

- Act 73 FBI Clearance
