**Responsibilities:**

- Greets and assists patients upon arrival; prepares paperwork and verifies documentation.

- Answers phone calls related to scheduling, patient questions, and history collection.

- Performs MRI safety screening per established protocols and reviews documentation with the technologist.

- Escorts, positions, lifts, and transfers patients as needed to ensure safety and comfort.

- Establishes IV access and assists with oral contrast preparation and patient instructions under technologist direction.

- Positions patients and imaging equipment according to protocol to ensure accurate imaging.

- Provides patient monitoring, support during exams, and discharge instructions as directed.

- Assists with quality control testing and reports equipment issues promptly.

- Transports patients, cleans, and prepares exam rooms per departmental guidelines.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- At least one-year of previous healthcare experience.

- Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred.

- IV insertion experience preferred.

**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

- Act 33 with renewal

- Act 34 with renewal

- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
