## Description

**Job Summary:** Retail Sales Associates deliver an engaging in-store experience, guiding customers through product discovery and purchase while maintaining merchandising standards. Part-time, non-exempt role with typical 6–8 hour shifts; evening and weekend availability may be required. Primary location St. Louis, MO with occasional DC coverage as needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer engagement:** Greet customers, assess needs, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and upsell/cross-sell appropriately.

- **Point of sale excellence:** Process transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately; follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.

- **Merchandising & readiness:** Restock, maintain visual standards, execute seasonal displays and promotions.

- **Inventory support:** Receive shipments, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies promptly.

- **Safety & accessibility:** Follow store safety protocols; keep the environment clean, organized, and accessible for all shoppers.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Retail or customer service experience is advantageous; training provided.

- Strong interpersonal skills and service orientation.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs; reliable availability.
